Hong Kong as an international financial centre and Macau as an entertainment and tourist centre in China, there are higher and higher concerns about air quality, especially indoor air quality since 80% of human activities are in indoor. Air continmenants are from outdoor and indoor, smoking is one of major indoor pollutant source. Macau implemented anti-smoking law since 2012. Smoking lounges are recently built inside casinos. In Hong Kong, multinational origanisations installed high efficiency air filters in the office to remove PM2.5 to protect the health of their staff.
