Vesa Mäkipää follows finished indoor air purification products, as they roll forward in the conveyor belt. He looks pleased.
Mäkipää was 23 years old when he founded Lifa Air, in 1988. Since primary school, he had known he will be an entrepreneur. But he couldn't quite have imagined this: products produced by his company, worth hundreds of euros a piece, being bought by the Chinese, thousand products per day. And he did not imagine himself living in Asia. But all of this happened.

The jury has reached its decision: After several days of assessing thousands of products from all over the world, Smart Air Purifier LA502 received the distinction “Honourable Mention”. With Smart Air Purifier LA502, LIFAair has created a particularly well-executed aspect of design work that the expert committee for the Red Dot Award: Product Design 2017 has recognised with the internationally sought-after seal of quality.
Innovative Nordic nation seen as key economically
China and Finland signed a number of documents on Wednesday to boost cooperation in such areas as innovation, panda research and judicial communication during President Xi Jinping's state visit to the Nordic country.
After the talks between Xi and his Finnish counterpart Sauli Niinisto, the two presidents announced they would build a future-oriented, new-type cooperative partnership.
The two leaders also agreed to strengthen political trust, deepen practical cooperation and benefit the people of both nations.

Das Reinigungsgerät für Hotels und Restaurants erkennt, laut LIFA Air, eigenständig Schadstoffe in der Luft. Sind diese erkannt, beginnt das Edelstahlgerät mit der Luftreinigung. Rauchgeruch und ander belastende Ausdünstungen sollen hierdurch in Windeseile beseitigt werden können.
